Six foot chain-link fence to keep out the deer. It has always been organically grown. I would estimate that it is about 100 x 200 feet. Most of it is for vegetables, there is a row of mature filbert trees along one side. On the other side are Blackberries and Raspberries. There are grapes on the fence – four different kinds. Also a cherry tree inside and an older apple tree outside. There are two wells. The older one is about 120 feet and produces about 2 gallons per minute. The newer one we put in fairly recently. It is 350 feet deep and we have never run out of water using it. I believe when it was dug they said 5 gallons per minute. There is no spring on that property. Sometimes in the springtime a little stream runs down the hill for a couple of months, but I wouldn't call it a spring. Mary Ellen is a gravel road, but paved into the house. It is secluded except for our house up above. No generator, but a generator hookup. Self heating from the wood burning furnace out back. The Furnace feeds the heat into the radiant floor heat. It is a large wood burning furnace that will go 24 hours on one feeding and was used exclusively to heat the house in the winter. If you look on the map, Mary Ellen Road is a gravel road. You have to go on it for about 1 mile from Inchelium Road to Windy Ridge Lane (which is paved.) Don
